The "International FORUM Medical Devices & Processes" is established since February 1999 as a user- expert platform in annual cycles. We work without the benefit of state-support, target-oriented and in direct cooperation with the interest groups – manufacturers and users.
The Surgical Instruments Workgroup Berlin with the two companies CLEANICAL® Ltd. and CMP Ltd. regards it as urgently necessary that the occupation with function and hygiene of medical devices and the understanding of products and processes take place on a scientific level, without forgetting the practical requirements of the clinical production operation. The FORUM, with its various and internationally aligned seminars and congresses, is aiming to make its active contribution.
A goal is the establishment of a proper profession in its own right, as well as the development of a public research instrument, in order to ensure progress in the field of medical devices and processes in the clinical practice.
